Joel "I Don't Know" Osteen

Recently I read the transcript from Larry King's interview with Joel Osteen. I was struck by how many times he said, "I don't know." I thought it would be interesting to do a quick search to see exactly how many times he said "I don't know" in that one interview. The results are in: 44 times!

Be thankful for the shepherds that give bold, unashamed answers from the Word of God.

Isn't that amazing? Discouraging, actually, when you think of how many people are listening to him.

By the way, it's Osteen, with no "l" (like the Christmas song, har har). And you can't know how much pleasure it gives me to be able to correct a PhD on anything, however trivial.

He's a master at ear tickling, I guess. I don't see it really. Yet, I thank God that I can see that Osteen's witness is not what the Scriptures teach us about being witnesses in this world of our Lord and Redeemer Jesus Christ.

John said: " I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life."

Paul said: "I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that Day what has been entrusted to me."

David, what do you mean "Osteen with no "l"? I don't understand . . . and you can't prove anything
